VC999 Packaging Systems will feature the first US presentation of its new i series thermoformer during the Process Expo. This new generation thermoformer offers some of the industry’s most advanced engineering and offers the only 2 year/2 million cycle warranty. The VC999 brand will also showcase the K9 Chamber Machine integrated with the 85.47 Shrink Tank.

One of the fastest growing needs within the packaging industry is integrated automation. The Perbetum SMART Automation brand was designed to meet this need. The Process Expo will feature the first formal, US launch of the Perbetum brand. Features at the show will include the OptiScan 4100 Vision Inspection System and the Q180 Robot. “The brand is growing quickly. We have several new machine systems in production now with Fall installations planned.” Jeff Youngs, Vice President of Automation with Perbetum said. The technology behind the Perbetum brand is some of the most advanced in the industry. According to Youngs, the Q180 is the industry’s fastest, USDA approved Pick and Place robot.

XtraVac has grown in 2011, too, and will feature at the Process Expo, one of two new product lines. Last July, a Flow Wrapper and a Shrink Tank product line were added to XtraVac. The Process Expo will serve as the formal launch of the Shrink Tank and will also feature the XtraVac T690A Tray Sealer.

“These two new products lines offer an affordable option to many of our small to medium sized processors who need the features the shrink tank and tray sealer offer. The flow wrapper is going to give the XtraVac brand a whole new window of opportunity especially with our bakery customers.” Remi Boudot, Vice President of Sales in Canada explained.

Also being featured at the Process Expo will be the XtraPlast.com brand. This group has worked hard over the past couple of years to grow this brand into one of the top US packaging materials providers, and is now extending its global reach with sales teams in more than 20 different countries. Within the last year, the XtraPlast.com brand has launched a new warehouse, expanded their inventory, grown their membership to record levels and launched a new consumer resource website.

The XtraPlast.com brand offers more than a thousand different types of packaging material and will display some of these samples at Process Expo.
